Progress - Week 2


There has been a lot of progress over the last week, mainly around fixing bugs in the old code base and integrating stuff from the newer codebase (Alpha Rising). This has been primarily UI copied across from Alpha Rising and made to suit Space RPG.

There was also a lot of refactoring work to move from the old style of managing classes to one using a lot more inheritance and polymorphism. A lot of long, tedious refactoring - and if I'm being honest with myself there's still a LOT more to go. Anyway, here are some pics of the UI in place. 

New UI
Here you can see the party on the left, the UI buttons top right, hotbar at the bottom and currently equipped items to the right of that.


Inventories
The party member inventory UI and the container UI (for things you click on to loot). These windows are draggable and I've moved them around here to better manage them.



Dragging
Dragging an item from my inventory to the container. Cursor doesn't show when I do the screenshot, but you get the idea.
